There a great mod, imo. I have the TWM short throw shifter, with the bushings and weighted knob.

If you do get one, I would also tell you to look into redlinegoods, and get there shift boot as well.

I have that setup.

TWM and/or ARK are the ones I've had the best experience with. I like the feeling of the ARK though.

Pros: SLIGHTLY Shorter shift; some people say a better feel than stock, though the stock one feels and looks pretty good to me; don't really have to worry about linkage snapping out like it does with the stock one; another mod on your mod list

Cons: Some people have issues with getting it into gear evidently; some people say it has a notchy feel and not as smooth

I have an armrest with Hurst and its doesnt bother me but it maybe an arm lenght difference.
