non-lsd, no recaros, standard warranty 36k warranty. 18k? Waste of money. If your going to spend that much get an 07 w/100k warranty, G85 & other goodies with Polished rims for $4k more. Also get a better rate thru GM then private bank.

again, no ricaros, no lsd...and is an 05. lots of people report the most problems on the 05 model. i compleatly understand the price of a new one...but if you make the sacrafice and spring for a new one with everything, you will be happy you did later.

I have an '05 and have no issues. It's pick and choose. Most are good, some are a lil iffy. The recaros rock, but are NOT a necessity. If you liek the car do not let the seats stop you from getting it. If you find one w/ the G85 pkg. thats all cool. But they don't make the car.

When I ordered mine I chose not to get the Recaro's. My wife liked the red inserts so that's what we ordered . I got it for 19,400 new and had 3 miles on it. I even done the 10 mile PDI process that has to be done before it's sold.

That few miles too? Watch it GM had a FLEET of test Cobalt SS's that were dogged hard core at test tracks. They never saw the street so the miles are ulta low BUT they were run as hard as they could be run. We passed on 12 of them at my dealership cause they all needed tires and a clutch.

If you get one used just be very careful!

We have a used yellow 05 here with 28,000 miles with the yellow trim interior for $19 grand

I love mine. only had it about 2 weeks now. My only problem (which was fixed today) was the cat was almost touching the sway bar.

It looks like there's only $500 consumer cash and 36-60 month is 4.9% and 72 month is 5.9%

If you can't afford 22k with low interest then you definitly can't afford 18k with a high interest rate. What you said makes no sense. The payments come out the same +/- 10 bucks.

5 yr / 21k car payment at 4.9% was $410 with $1800 down. (ME)

6 yr /22k car payment at 5.9% (IF you qualify) with $0 down would be about $430 a month. (YOU)

That's a lauph. GM's new waranty looks really good on paper, but considering how bastardish they are with the current one I wouldn't trust it any further than I could throw it.
