Is that manifold equal length? J/W. Great turbo selection, just freakin great. That turbo will make 450+ no prob. I imagine you'll exceed 350 w/ pump gas as well. I'm warning you though, the torque will be massive.

Something else...I'm not sure when that turbo will spool, but I know on Honda's it doesn't make full boost til' around 5500RPM's or so with a street tune. A professional tune usually can get the spool time down to 5K or so with moderate boost levels. Hope the LSJ can push enough CFM for a decent powerband. Think you'll upgrade the head and run higher RPM? I'm really interested in the powerband the LSJ produces with this turbo.

we will need the valve springs, retainers and neutral balance shaft for the 8k rpm. Find out at what is the highest rpm that the turbo can take before it will overspin.

In all honesty, with a 2.0L motor...I'm not sure you can overspin that turbo with a street setup. I would expect 9500RPM or so before that thing starts falling off.

With that said..I've seen this turbo on 2.0L Honda's spinning easily to 9k. It wouldn't be much different with the LSJ. What's the specs? That will tell a lot. .63 A/R? .81 A/R?

good point, it is a large turbo <atleast for a 4 cylinder>. I think its a .63. Looks like max spool will definately be inbetween 4500rpm and 5000rpm. But if he ever chooses to go with meth injection than im sure I can definately make the timing more aggresive, for a quicker spin.
