NOTES: Not legal for use on pollution-controlled motor vehicles. For off-road use only. mmmm sounds nice. wish I didn't have emissions to worry about

theres plenty of shops in PA that allow so much to slip under the radar for a few extra bucks...I have a shop where its 80$ for emissions and inspection no questions asked

I think I could let it slide too, but i'm worried about the police. they're strict with that crap in my area, and I've already had my emissions tested twice.

also, I just bought the zzp combo with the groupbuy!! we're still looking for a few people to take others places to QUICK throw a message up and you might get in!!!

i still dont understand what they were checking, unless dB levels aside from that, thats a DOT issue to be brought up at inspection

well it was at a checkpoint. the initial harassment was volume, and then I was told I needed to have my exhaust checked for emissions?? I dunno, but they had to send a paper in to the police saying it was checked and passed both dB and emissions. (where I live we have to have emissions and inspections done, it's gay, cause 3 minutes down the road...you dont.) it was gay, and I would say **** 'em but they're always running that checkpoint and I have to go that way a lot.

Thats a sweet header. I might end up buying one of those eventually, when I build the car. I like the fact that it replaces the whole manifold and DP with a single piece, keeps it lighter that way as you have two less flanges, three less bolts, and so on.

The header has a high flow cat on it.. so emissions would not be a problem.. and its a longtube header because it's a 4-2-1 style header not a shorty style which is a 4-1

long tubes can be a 4-1 still...it just has to have longer primaries... thereve been pics of long tube headers on here before...theyre usually just coiled up primaries like on Lamborghinis.

SLP are quality pieces but I alway heard that you don't get as much horse power out of their products and they are too exspensive

from the pic the slp is a 4-1 long tube, seems like a very nice piece of work. I bet it allows you to put down some great power. I have a 4-2-1 and its different in that it evenly spreads out the hp and tq gains more, 4-1 headers are more peaky. Theres not a huge difference in long tubes and shorty's, a nice long tube is approximately 36" in length.
