i ran a 2.85 for a long time with no probs at all. dynoed 235hp

235 is pretty low for a 2.85 when you consider what it should be making with it on better injectors isnt it? Unless you were on a mustant dyno or something?

Why? The stock tune is very rich stock correct? That gives a bit of room for bigger injectors. Why wouldn't 42lb injectors work with the stock tune and a 3" pulley?

what about a 3.1" with an injen inake and magnaflow exhaust? any problems/danger with that set up?

Because your ecu thinks you have smaller injectors, so the fuel tables arent setup for a larger injector, so youll get crap performance.
