so I did an oil press gauge

I have an 07 ss/sc and I put in my mechanical oil press gauge yesterday,

well first off there are 3 plugs on the exhaust side of the block, but only one would be function to put the fittings into due to were they are, and I couldnt get it out for the life of me,

soo I jsut decided to use the stock location.

beucase of were it was I tried to just work around everything, but it wasent working, so I had to pull the starter and pull the aftercooler pump, and then it was right there, except from what I have seen on here the stock sensor screws into the block, mine didnt, mine was a plug that was in the block with a screw off to the side holding it in soo I could use that, luckly right next to the stock sensor was a plug I go that out with some vise grips beucase my allen wrenchs just stripped it to hell lol, but I got the adapter from autometer and it fits great everything looks good,

at idle my gauge reads 30 psi or soo cruise between like 60-90 and if you get on it it tops out at like 135 -140 lol

it looks good and now that I know what you need to do it should only take like an hour or soo it took me like 3 hours beucae I was trying to find other spots to place the fittings,

and Im very glad I put this in, I think its nessesary to know oil press...

any questions feel free to ask, Ill have pics up soon

I'd like to see pics of both the gauge and where you put the fittings.

If anyone is interested I wrote up a how-to on this a little while ago when I did mine.
