so im thinking.......

About putting my stock exhaust back on tomorrow so I can see iif my airbox mod really made a difference in sound.. Also im wondering if I take the reasonator off and put a straight pipe in its place, what will that do for the stock and custom exhaust if I decide to put it back on

Anyone got any tips or any input

personally thats a huge waste of time to check the sound of one small mod. but thats just me, if you've got the time then why not.

Im new to the whole performance and everything in general that's why I kinda want to put stock back on so I can see what the mod did itself lol

In my opinion taking away the resonator period is a good thing just adds better flow threw your exhaust system, and resonators are kinda like baffles in a four wheeler, its a little tube within the exhaust pointing into the opposite direction in which the air is flowing which causes back pressure, because the exhaust has to now instead of going forward, go back again, and go through the little resonator hole, which there takes away power from your car, so in my opinion you can either get rid of them completely our just buy a high flowing exhaust that comes with one, but is better over all in performance over your stock exhaust.
