Sorry kids, but if you want 1.75" primaries you are going to have to deal with the nuts being close to the primaries. It's been documented that Honda hardware is smaller and will work fine or a grinder on the stock hardware.
I thought that the fit issue was with the coolant tube and the left primaries going down under the others. I seriously doubt Hahn would let that become an issue and is probably not one today. Screamin!'s header is installed, so it doesn't have fit issues.

The thread True header has a lot of information about headers as I see it (my 1900 words worth). I even gave my 2 cents about the Motha F'ckin snakes on the Motha F'ckin header.

selfinfliction makes a good point about shorty headers. When they are built with large enough primaries the LSJ responds across the board with increases in power. He who not be mentioned on this forum produced more power from an equal design, but it also used a miter cut collector.
I think it was WopOnTour who regularly saw 14 HP gains across the board with the unmentionable header and they claimed independent dyno’s of as much as 20 HP before HP Tuners was even available.
Everyone wants to knock shorty headers, but between what SCdyne, Hahn, and TOG have all proven on the dyno they are so-far the best performing headers around.
Seeing as how the SCdyne/TOG headers generally are hard to find and frequently are of terrible quality the Hahn header is hands down the way to go. $499 for 304 stainless is not a bad price either.

you know whats funny I paid 160 for my pacesetter and paid a shop 400 to make a custom downpipe with cat and install the header and will have the same gaINS as you people who spend 1000 just for header and downpipe with no local service to fix any problems you run into. I hope you guys enjoy spending 400 extra that could have gone to a water meth kit of a h/e. Just my .02 about "Quality".

And you know whats funny, that $160 pacesetter header is most likely the non coated one that will rust out on you in a couple of years,if not sooner. So that $400 you saved can go towards a real header when its time replace it.I like to buy **** for my car that bolts up without modification. If i replace my header,i dont wanna have to bring it to an exhaust shop to have a custom down pipe made up for it to work.I wanna install it and be done in one shot.Plus those ball and socket joints are garbage and will probably start leaking.I have the hahn header which i paid $399 for and will look alot better than the pacesetter after a couple of years.

I assume by header fitment issue you mean the one bolt that wont bolt up and has to be ground down? If thats the one, no - they didn't.

If you are talking about being so close to that pump and rubbing on the driver side - I'm unsure. It's about a 1/4" away from that pump.[/QUOTE]

I was talking about both. And yea so i guess...I dunno.
