WTf ok I always have gotten that troll in the trunk knock knock sound....
I don't get it anymore....
I'm wondering if that was from the evap canister thing back by the tank...and if that means it is no longer working??

 

lol troll in the trunk.And im pretty sure if your evap screrwed up somehow youd throw a obd-2 code.

 

well I would think to to.....but then again there seems to be a bunch of **** n these cars that should throw codes when not working right but don't....or like to throw codes for the hell of it..

 

i have one in my car too i thought it was my fuel pump or something like that now that its warmer its gone away for me

 

im pretty sure thats the trunk makings sure it is locked and secured. does it every now and then.

 

cant be that, i had a base ls that did it to...no electric latch on it

 

troll? i thought we all agreed it was a ghost in the trunk all cobalts do it if you stay in the car after u shut it off, a few mins afterwards u'll hear..it freked me out at night when i would be parked outside waiting for someone...freeeaky, sounds like someone taps the side of your car, but when u turn around, no one is around u...just u in a empty parking lot...was scared shitless when it first happend to me, was @the mall at midnight picking up a friend after work...

 

I had a knocking noise in the trunk too, dealer spent hours looking for it and found nothing, then i was like hey what about the spare tire, and it was loose, tighten it, no more noise lol

 

Yeah this happens in mine too, I never thought too much of it...

 

yeah both mine did it but this one just all of the sudden stopped...

 

dont worry its the fuel pump turning off after a certin amount of time...its normal. and sometimes u hear it sometimes u dont.
