Does anybody know of a 2 step rev limiteron the lsj factory pcm???
Well this morning I was driving to work messin with my HP Tuners. And I change the table I never really messed with. And it gave the car rev limiter while the clutch was pushed down.. I've never seen a thread or anybody talk about this

When I was looking at 'Balts initially, I thought they all had built in NLS, but from reading on here, NLS is only on LNF. When I test drove my LSJ, I did it, and it worked like NLS is supposed to.
now I have an N2MB WOTbox, and I have to shut it off or it pisses me off during "spirited" driving.
so, in for answers

please correct me if my thought process is misguided, but anything you can do (thinking drag racing) to reduce transition time during gear changes is a plus on the strip.
during a normal manual gear change you lift off the throttle for two reasons-- so the rpm doesn't spike while there is no load on the engine, and to allow the shafts in the transmission to come close enough together in speed to allow the gears to mesh.
using NLS provides a during-the-shift rev limiter that should shorten manual gear shift times

just hit the clutch and shift the gear
who was it that was looking at the clutch hold down / release adjuster thing a week or two ago?
the ultimate drag machines don't need the clutch pedal-- autos > Lenco / planetary manual > traditional stick shift
but manual trans is so much FUN.....
but consistency wins bracket races....
so mixing up both -- running your manual trans car, but getting some help; launch control, NLS, clutch switch, could end up being a lot of fun! , and, just maybe you could win a few extra rounds at the bracket races.
