Spacer plate for meth?

I haven't seen a thread about this so sorry if it has been discussed. But I'm interested in the ZZP spacer plate for spraying meth after the sc. Couple questions. Obviously the adapter plate is better as far as IAT2s, but is it worth it and are there any cons to using it? Also, what is the best way to plug a hole in the intake. I'm running meth already via tap into intake, but I'm not seeing the results I hoped for regarding IAT2s.

Even when I only added a couple degrees, the iats were still not what i wanted. Im running close to a 50/50 mix. Granted I live in FL so its 90+ degrees everyday. I know it will be more efficient because the sc is what heats up the iats, therefore spraying directly into the IM will be better obviously. But 130 dollars better is my question?
