Hey guys i have a question? And yes i used the search button. lol i coul not find the right gap for my car.its pretty much stock just look at my mod list to see whats done. well i bought Autolight XP Iridium plugs Part # XP3923 What gap should i run them in my set up? At the part store they told me.040 but that seems really big for me. is that right? i would think like .032-.035 but not.040 IDK ill leave it up to you guys. Thanks Kevin

i got my NGK 2 step colder gapped at .38...works perfect. I say try it at .40 and see how it works...if it sputters...gap it to .37ish..all depends what your car likes

Service manual calls for .035 on an LSJ car. People here run anywhere from .035 to .040.

Well, what I'd like to know is how some of these people feel better with .038 as opposed to .036, etc. I'm not knocking anyone, I just want to know the reason, lol. The reason I ask is because I just went forced induction but I left my gap at .040 and haven't had a problem.

I just looked at all of the owner's and service manuals from 2005-2007. In each of the different manuals they seem to lists different gaps. I found .035, .039, .040 and .042. lol.

my gap is 35 because if i put anything bigger i get carbon buildup so i started stepping down till i did not get any more carbon buildup and i now have normal wear.
