1/4 turn past hand tight, thats the rule Ive always followed and it even says to do that on the NGK box. and spark plug wire bolts? I take it your talking about the coil pack bolts those can be a little over hand tight as well.

If your getting knock try re-gapping your plugs first, you may want to switch plugs if you cant get that to work.

Ignition Coil hold dowm bolts = 89 in/lbs
Spark Plugs = 15 ft/lbs
This info from GM Sevice Manual pg 6-1383
Everyone should own a set of these, they are extremely hand to have

P0300 is a very broad code, it said Misfire, not Bad plugs.. two different things..

look at the car in a broad sense.. is it continous or a 1 time thing.. car drive normal now or acting weird? look at all symptoms.. not just 1 code it slung

P0300 is the only code. It'll come up one day.....stay on for two....then one day three it'll go away. but then it returns?

What would be the reason of -10.0 to 8.0 of timing? Is this good?

Misfire is not knock. In fact, its almost the exact opposite. How do you know what your timing is? I assume you have a programmer? Have you messed with it?

p0300 can be caused by quite a few things... coil/sensor/vacuum/gas/injectors.... its a very broad error code

did you gap the plugs before installing?
if so what is your gap at.

misfire sounds like you either have them gapped to wide, or maybe assumed they are gapped right out of the box?

I just installed a set of those, working perfectly, same as the first set. They came factory gapped at .32, I opened them up tp .35 and thats working good for me. Hand tighten the plugs then give them 1/8 of a turn, just enough to make them tight. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN YOUR SPARK PLUGS!!! IF YOU HAVE TO PUT ANY EFFORT INTO TIGHTENING THEM, THEY ARE TOO TIGHT.
