some have gotten off this lucky

but in all reality most wont do it that cheap.
the book suggests around 2hs for install. and it usually takes more than that. especially if they havent done it before.

Do it yourself and just have them flash it. Then it will cost less than $100.

why spend money on a kit to save your warranty,
and then throw it away by self installing.

might as well just buy a pully, injectors and reflash for half the price.

Really, your dealer won't honor your warranty if you install it? Mine has no problem with it at all.

I have a piece of paper in front of me right now. directly photocopied from the GMPP catalogue.

this is what it says in reference to the page showing "supercharger kits"

"The Supercharger systems are covered under the vehicle's warranty if installation is performed by a GM dealer.
For the do-it-yourself installer, the parts are covered by a 12-month warranty."

The dealer you go to has a big impact on how they look at that sort of thing. However, if you get the Stage II kit dealer installed not only will the dealer you go to have no problem with it, but your car will be in their system as Stage II so that every dealer you go to will know that it was installed by a GM dealership.
