Which Spark Plugs to get.....

Alrighty, im still on the stock pulley but I have a tune, intake and exhaust and I was wanting to replace my plugs! So I am asking should I get some stock replacement plugs or upgrade to a range colder plugs? Also if I stay w/ the stock plugs what is the code name so I can get direct replacements? I have been to the local autoparts stores and alls they seem to have is AutoLites and if im correct our stock plugs are NGK's so what should I do?

NGK 1 step colder are a good plug for a modded cobalt.

Stockers are pretty damn pricey too from what i remember.

If you are still on stock pully stay on stock plugs cause you dont have to a smaller pully they dont even recommned a colder plug with the gmpp stage 2 kit but you should stay with stock until you get a smaller pully

^^^ agreed. IMO when you do get a smaller pulley, stay away from the NGK's... I really dont like them. Some love them, I dont. I'll sell them real cheap if you want them!

I am running one range colder plugs that are NGK copper core which don't lsat as long but displace heat much better and give you a better spark. I have some mods done CAI/exhaust but don't think stock plugs are bad unless you go to a smaller pulley. As for mine I might think about goin gback to stock till i get the stage 2 but have no problems with the colder one s now..

Faster heat dissapation, helps cool down cyl temps, reducing chance of detonation.

Too cold can cause incomplete cleaning of the plug, resulting in fouled plugs though. Its all about finding the right gap and temp range for the specific engine combo.

if your car is not really modified then stay stock unless you live in canada, then i would recommend them due to the ethenal bleneded gas.

Keep stock plugs until you get a smaller pulley like a 3" or smaller. Even with bolt-ons.

Yes man please get one step colder plugs.

I would recommend either of these, they are both awsome plugs.

1. NGK BKR7E copper plugs gaped to .35

2. ZEX part number 82003-4, no need to gap.
