Spark plugs and high flow cat

Just a couple of quick ?'s,would their be any benefits to changing out my spark plugs right now?,i only have a cold air intake and magnaflow muffler and about to hit 3000 miles. My other ? is has anybody tried to take a high flow cat to a muffler shop to get installed and been turned down?I tried getting mine installed this weekend but they wouldn't do it because first they said if there is nothing wrong with my cat and it is still under warranty by law they cannot change it,and second they said it would not fit and that the factory cat is better than the magnaflow cat i had.

You gotta go to one of those hole in the wall muffler shops. They'll probably install it for ya.

I just put on my zex plugs and the car runs so much smoother. Previously I had NKG bkr7e with a .37/.38 gap. It feels like it pulls a little more evenly also. Maybe even a bit stronger???

The park plugs could take away some knock which you could be getting. But I doubt it on stock boost and stock tune. The stock is actually VERY VERY good, not restrictive at all. SO I would not recommend of wasting the time and money on a high flow cat. No cat would be the only way to go. Let me know if that answered your question.
