My friend is looking at getting an 05 ss/sc in the midst of talking to the owner of the car he mentions that there is a misfire or sputter.The car had sputtered/misfired before causing it to go into limp mode. its a stg 2 with a hp tune. replaced the map sensor. since replacing that there has been no limp mode but it just sputtered/misfired for the first time in months. what say you tech heads out there?

What did he gap them to?

 

yeah he could have gaped them wrong or not at all, or maybe the coil packs??

 

Check the coil packs, im betting its the tune, a few of us have had this problem with tunes in st.louis..........

 

ahh ok i shall see what they are if any gap issues and check the tune
