sputtering at high rpm

so the other day here in wa i got my maf a lil wet and threw a code like always and i usualy just dry everything then kill the power to the car(pulling of the red wire to the bat) then start her back up and everything is back to normal. well my buddy decided to plug his code reader in and deleted the cel using the code reader and ever since then my car has been sputtering like its not getting enough fuel once i get up to 4.5 - 5k rpm and its really pissing me off cuz i cant haul ass now. my car has the zzp stage 2 kit with the 2.9 pulley 49lb injectors and their pcm, then the normal cai, downpipe, catback. help me out guys.

so i decided to check my afr and im usualy hittn like 11 10.5 and right now its like 11.8 12 something
=(

Change your plugs and/or check their gap. With a 2.9" Pulley, you'll wanna run NGK BKR7E's... gapped at right around .036-.038, iirc.

I've seen this problem quite a bit recently. Plugs SHOULD solve it. Hard to say without seeing/playing with the car.

Well, after eliminating the easy stuff... aka Plugs... we'll move on to the harder things. Like your MAF.

Maf is screwed would be my guess.. the code scanner isn't going to hurt it

scan it and see if it has thrown any dormant codes, find out what cylinder the misfire is occuring. pull that injector and swap it to another cylinder check to see if the problem follows it.

I can assure you he didn't delete your tune with the code reader. Plugs first. .33-.35 then comeback if the problem persists.
