Exclamation The Ss Dual Exhaust

Hey everyone,
I don't know if anyone has attempted it, but seriously tuner or no tuner the SS name in itselve deserves a dual exhaust system. I do not know of any manufacturers releasing dual exhaust systems, but I have seen some really nice looking (and decent sounding, but I haven't heard drive bys which I REALLY want to hear) custom dual exhaust setups with the Flowmaster 40 Series muffler. If anyone and I mean ANYONE has some input on the dual exhaust idea please drop me a line on this thread. If someone here has a dual exhaust on their SS, specifically with flowmaster 40 series, or even a single 40, let me know....drop some videos, clips, sounds, ANYTHING. Also, the body work on the right side of the rear bumper to make it symetrical with the other side (cut out for exhaust tip)....has anyone done this? how did it turn out? pics? suggestions on dual exhaust and Flowmaster 40 series or any exhaust inputs whatsoever (performance gains, losses, etc.)!!!

1...2...3......GO!

Nickc84 you drive an LS..... SS stands for Super Sport....look back at all the old SS's.....dual dual dual dual dual........im sorry but im not gonna let an srt-4 driver driving behind me not want to race me because i have a single exhaust because he thinks "he'll smoke me" just for that simple fact....when really my car is pushing about 270 hp.....anyway....buy an SS...do your homework on SS history...then leave me some comments...If we all left our cars the same as they were when we bought them because "they didn't come stock with it," we wouldn't have this forum whatsoever.

If you're doing it for looks and so SRT'4's will want to race you , do a crossflow camaro style muffler (flowmaster 80 series I think) with one pipe in and 2 pipes out. That way you're not adding a bunch of useless **** to your car.

Bro ... I know u have a ss/sc .... You have 205 hp not over 300 ...wrx's and sti's dont even have duals. From what I have been told a 4 cylinder engine dosent produce enuf power to need duals. But I could be wrong cus it is supercharged......

I have GM stage 1 + 2 and computer mods..... dynoed 270 hp...not 205....your categorizing this vehicle as the classic "tuner" car of the late 20th early 21st centuries....the SS name has heritage behind it..and no i'm not doing this for looks...im looking into it yes, but im looking for a good flowing system which would still be creating more power over stock........it would most likely be a simple y-pipe from the cat (possibly high flow cat) and dual exits...thats all....im just trying to find out if there are component parts to put this system together that would yield a well improved exhaust system....and still be duals.....

I am by no means saying your a ricer. (You have faster car, lol) but In my mind duals on a 4 cylinder is ricer-ish. But you do what you want. Im sure it will be cool and sound bad ass.

I'm not trying to make you feel inferior in any way. I'm just stating the facts.... Hell your probable older than me. I don't really care it doesn't bother me. I'm 18. You could be 31. I'm just saying when you mod a car its to your preferences....I like the dual idea and if I can do it while still generating a high-flow system....then i'll do it.. If not...then i won't... this thread was for suggestions not shoot downs.

Dunno how well it will mount on a Cobalt, but you'll be the first as far as I know.

Please explain. Yes we have a limited after market but last i checked the only companies to have Stage kits and performance parts from the factory/dealer are Gm and Mopar.
