so is it generally the same but cheaper to get stage 1 then buy the belt and pulleys sometime after?

 

u could do that if u were just going to get stage 1 and stop modding for a while, then after warranties up, get a smaller pully, but if u want to go faster now, get the stage 2. if u bought the stage 2 pully and belt after, im not sure if that would still be under warranty. u mite have to purchase the stage 1 to 2 kit.

 

i just got a 2006 2.0 like 2 weeks ago and i dont know where to start. I'm new to this **** and i keep getting my ass whooped by other cars left and right and im sick of it lol

 

just get stage 2 heck go stage 4 or 5 lol

if i were u i would just get the stage 2 from somewhere like crate engine depot. its cheaper than buying from the dealer and u could just have ur dealer install it and u could go fast and still be under warranty.

Ok first Timster get some miles on your car before you mod. I noticed a real performace benifit on my car after somewhere around 5k miles. Sounds like BS but it is the gods honest truth. Like the magical power farie visited and bestowed some extra torq and HP.

Then if you still are getting whooped around mod out a little bit. but be warned that SRT4 with a stage kit will take a lot of money on your side to be faster than.

 

my car has 20k miles on it, and youre saying even with a stg 2 upgrade i wont be faster than my friends srt?

 

it all dependes i have exhaust and S1. (going with pulleys later) and i can kill a stock Srt. If he has modded it any your def. going to need S2 or more.

 

Unless the 350Z has F/I you should be able to take him. Maybe your car needs the !Driver mod

the 350 was stock, but it wasnt from a stop we were rolling like 30mph.
