I just a call from the parts department at my Chev dealer to let me know that pricing and availablilty just appeared in the system for the staged kits. He gave me the kit for $1075 Can (not including labor). He said the kit is ship direct and will be here in 10 days!

Just called my dealer they said probably 2 weeks. I really don't think the dealers have any clue, but I would be happy to be proved wrong and someone get their kit sooner than later.

Should I buy it from Crate or the dealer? Might get scewed on the labor if I don't buy from the dealer.

Koons Chevrolet in Baltimore (410-931-7890) says part number 17803229 (stage 2) is NOT a good part number. Meaning it does not exist in the computer...

it is a good number it either not in they're system or the parts ppl are just to lazy to look for it. I was told that so many times when I knew it was a good part #. Dealers I belive are the last to know anything.

I wouldn't put anything past GM...
All the other guys that "ordered" theirs a couple of weeks ago had the same thing happen. Their orders were canceled the next day....

I've waited this long, so if I get shafted on the deal and have to wait longer, what can I do?

They were just the dealer i called quickly from work. My dad knows the parts manager at another dealership and even he said they are not in his system. He call GM before and confirmed Doc's prices that he listed a while back. So it is not just the one dealership.....
