stage 2 first then 65lbs injectors?

i have a stage 2 kit and a 2.8 pulley sitting on my floor. i was thinking about just getting ZZP Interchangeable Pulley System with a 2.6 pulley and ZZP Pulley Puller and ZZP Adjustable Tensioner and SIEMENS 60lb injectors, and putting it on myself, but then i remember the stage 2 requires a reflash... so should i just get the stage 2 upgrade with reflash first? or is someone with hptuners able to eliminate that problem?

If you have the stage 2 why do you want to use HPTuners? Sell the stage 2, use the 2.79 pulley, the 60# injectors, and do the HPTuners. You would be wasting stage 2.

If you do all the ZZP parts, then you don't need the Stage 2 flash, but instead will need a HPTune.

Question, are you guys getting somebody to tune your car with HP tuners, or are you doing it yourself?

zzp rents the tool to machine the snout I'd do the 2.6 and 60's. You will need a tune to run the 60 lb injectors. You could also get one of the intense kits and they can do the tune for you also.

ZZP has a tool you can rent. They have a video on how to use it at their site.

it says on the website
"ZZPerformance pulleys do not require snout machining. By developing Ecotech specific pulleys we run all the way down to 2.6" w/o snout machining."

Just stick wit a 2.7" or 2.8" pulley. When you go below that you get too much heat and its not efficient at all. It will be passable if you get cooling, but your still overspinnin the blower. Think about reliability a lil unless its purely your racin car.

sell stage 2, go with 2.7 or 2.8 and 60s, get a tune, then when you can afford it, get all the supporting mods(dual pass, bigger heat exchanger,water/meth, etc.) then get a 2.6 or just leave it

My 2.6" pulley and hub from ZZP fit perfectly fine, no machining was needed. I think its hit or miss with it.

Definately....I installed one and the bottom of the snout was rubbing. We started it up and the pulley froze and the belt continued to move. We were like WTF....

Yea, you don't need the GM Stage 2 flash as long as you get tuned. The Stage 2 flash wouldn't work with the 60lb. injectors anyways, so you would have to get tuned using HPTuners.
