So is mine!

Mine's being installed, too. Except they made me leave mine as the shop foreman, himself, is going to do the install. They said it will likely take most of the day as he'll keep getting pulled away from my car to help other techs. With this being the case, they quoted $151 for the install (in writing), so they better not hand me a bill for an 8 hour install when I go to pick it up, or it's going to get ugly!

I've left 4 messages already today, and not one was answered. Then I was finally told that the service advisor called off sick which is why the calls weren't returned. I hate waiting...

ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGG! (still waiting).

Still don't have a ride to pick it up, either. I might just walk, it's only about 15 miles...

Nah, once I hit 30 my belly began to expand, the walk would probably do me good. Besides, I've only ever ridden in a taxi once before and I don't think I could hold my breath that long again...

I've got it back now, too much traffic to really open it up any.

My only gripe so far is not with the stage 2 kit, but the poly trans and engine mounts I had installed along with it. I was aware there would be increased cabin vibration, and certainly expected it to be very noticable. But this is crazy, I can't even see out of any of my mirrors AT ALL below 2000 rpm from the vibraton, it's that bad! (ain't bass, my stereo isn't even on). Cruising at 60 mph found every rattle my car has, along with many new ones. I'm glad I got the old parts back from the dealer, because at least one of the mounts will probably be coming back off tomorrow.

The mounts will loosen up some. Who did you get them from? Also try the NGK plugs, they noticably reduced my vibrations.

God, I hope so. I got them both from ZZP, which they do at least even warn on their site about the vibrations, I just couldn't imagine this much. It feels like I'm launching a top fuel dragster (sounds a little like it from inside, too). I was thinking about the plugs anyways, it just might be a little while before I have time off again after tomorrow. Any chance Advance or Western auto might carry these in stock, or am I stuck waiting on the mail again?

I did do one hard launch, though, and got nothing but nice smooth wheel spin. If I could live with the vibs, I might just tell JBP where to stick their bushings (since they aren't answering my emails about my missing order).

I got my plugs through NAPA, advance didn't carry them. They literally take 15 mins to change when you get them. Which ZZP tranny mount did you get? The single piece or the welded one? The single piece one might be stiffer and cause some more vibes than the welded one, which i have. But the vibes will def decrease some over time.

Contact Intense for the bushings if you really want them cause they started to carry them.

Yep, they announced it the day after I had already placed my order with JBP. I got the front mount. I'll probably hit up NAPA tomorrow morning then and give 'em a whirl.

Sorry I did not post back last night guys.
The dealer took about 1.75 hours to do the install and charged me 125 fro the install and 635 for the kit. Total with tax was 799.92.
The dealer I went to was the one that I got the car at, Tinney Chevy in Greenville Michigan.
The did a great job. And seam to be faster then the norm here.

THe kit is totaly sweet. It change the car alot more then I thought it would. And I do have a 7k redline now. The car seams to run beter, the idle is up about 200 rpm and the power drop in the 1-2 shift under normal driving is not nearly as bad as it was.
The S/C is alot louder now (I have the air box mod) and it sounds just wicked at 7K to.
With the air box mod I got a CEL with the dreded lean code, its now gone. I put 206 miles on the car after the kit went on and it still has not come back on.

One thing I can tell you is that the members that had there kit put on and then dove almost right to the dyno will for sure have lower #s then the kit is making. It took about 80 miles and several full throttle runs, normal stop and go driveing and atleast 10 start and run cycals for the new programing to fully reach 100%.

The car at first felt as though the 7k red line and a few PSI of boost where all that where added. But after a day of driving it at has a lot more power every where in the RMP band and alot more tourqe and it feals like it has a wider power band to.
It also feals like it has more power now then it did when the kit was first put on.

I am looking for a dyno in the area now but have not found anything yet.

The track near my house has a test and tune day tomaroow and im going to try to go and run the car but I might not make it there in time as I have to got to the doctor.

Ill let every one know what I run and post my slips if am able to go.

I did mess around with my G-tech a little bit ago. I know it's not accurate, but messing with it before stage 2 I would get a consistent 14.5-14.7 @ 96-98 mph. 2 runs today netted me 14.25@104.6 mph and 14.08@104.9 mph. So there is definately an improvement, but below 3k rpm for me seems to have suffered compared to without stage 2. The G-tech also shows '60 times which were around 2.5 (ouch), still trying to learn how to nail the launches even without the wheel hop.

All testing done on a closed track, of course...............alright, maybe just an extremely empty and flat road in the middle of nowhere!
