stage 2 kit, whats included and whats needed.

i just bought a gm stage 1+2 kit and im wondering if there was suppose to be a injector harness included, i though it was. also do i need to change my sparkplugs when i install this kit?

thanks

You shouldn't have to change the plugs, but it's good to do as routine maintenance. I'm not sure if it includes a harness or not, someone should be able to chime in, My guess would be yes.

I don't think it does for the 42lb injectors

do you still have warranty on your car? b/c that's the only reason I'd buy that junk kit.

Why would you go with the GM kit? OTTP and ZZP make better kits for far less money, and you are actually able to customize them. But anywho, you shouldn't need a new harness for 42's and I believe you get new spark plugs to swap out

the only thing you get with GM's stage 2 kit is injectors, pulley, belt, stage 2 blue bolts and the specialty tool you need to install said bolts. You don't need new plugs. It's meant to run with a stock block.

You want my biggest piece of advice if you're really wanting to stick with that crap? Ignore going to the dealer for the reflash and find someone in your area that can give you a decent tune with HPTuners. The stage 2 reflash runs close to 10:1 at WOT, way out of the block's efficiency range.

the gmn kits arent that bad

Sorry guys. Hate on the gm stage kit all you want, its the only thing that's at my reach, and the only place I can get it tuned is gm so I had no other choice, I wasn't about to buy another pcm with the tune already on it. . And my car is still under waranty. I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Thanks to the people who actually helped

It's not the fact that we weren't trying to help, at least for me I was asking why you decided to go that route

Compared to some of the f ed up tunes that I have heard people receiving from the OTTP and ZZP kits, I'd take the GMPP kit when between them for a complete canned tune kit
