To stage 2 or not to stage 2 that is the question

Is it worth the nearly 1,000 clams to upgrade to stage 2. Will I be able to notice a differance in power?

There are other things to consider. If you are under warranty and want to keep it go stage 2. If you arent get the ott stage 1 kit or just piece together your own. 60 lb injectors, 2.8 pulley, tune. did you really need to make three threads about this? lol

i agree, if its under warrenty go with a gm stage 2 kit, if not skip that and go with the OTT stage 1 kit. the OTT kit will get you more power, and you wont end up wanting to replace everything later on. the only downfall is if you arent mechanicly inclined and cant install the kit yourself your going to have to find someone that can. thats one upside to the gm kit, you can drop the car off, come back pay the bill and your done.

Go with stage 2 if you still have a lot of warrenty left, if not then go for OTT stg.1, Also 1000 bucks is a little expensive... shop around cause there is more than one dealer who can do this for you!

keep in mind that if the kit isnt installed by a gm dealer they can void your powertrain warrenty.

stage 2 gm is weak for the price, the only upside is the warranty, ottp stage 1 is much better. with the gm stage 2 they give you a 3 inch pulley with 42 lbs injectors, ottp give you 60 lbs injectors with a 2.8 inch pulley for 425$

Maybe, I been thinking about it too. If stage II is really worth the money. Im not too mechanically inclined so i like my warranty..but one must wonder if the 700 is worth that you get. I hear nothing but positives about OTT stage 1, but my warranty wont be up till around 100k miles or 3 more years...by then to many miles to stage it I think.

I wonder...stage II or a .45...decisions decisions.

If your worried about warranty (like i was) stageII is definitely worth it , it a nice jump. It's not all about the HP , the 7K Redline really helps put it higher in the power band for 2nd gear.... well all gears but 2nd's the worse stock.
