you need that or one of the aftermarket tensioners, you don't want the belt slipping do you?

Wrong.

I ran a 2.8 for a couple days on my stock belt.. haha..

The stage 2 pulley had no problems for a few months i ran it before i got the belt. I Installed it one rib over and it broke so i just used my stock belt.

Well..

There is something called a pulley puller... Some have trouble with it, some dont. There are certain ones you can rent that work better than others (the ones at autozone and stuff).

The easiest way is to get to a auto machine shop and have the pulley pressed off, and have the hub pressed back on. This cost me 20 bucks... but was worth it, since i tried for about 3 hours with a pulley puller.

i thought it just depended on which stage 2... zzp s2 doesnt require stage 2 belt however recommended. any pulley smaller than 3.1 i would recommend a smaller belt though. i just bought mine regardless because i knew i would need it. funny thing is month after i did my pulley swap etc... new belt w.e.... i had to get a new belt tensioner assembly... i didnt bother zzp bout it i just went to the dealer and told them it went bad for some reason... the tech looks at it later on says thats not the stock pulley or belt is it? i'm like no its not is that bad? he said i'll let that kinda stuff slide... oh btw i replaced the belt tensioner assembly all under warranty... i gave him 40 bucks for tip lmao
