2006 Cobalt SS/SC 62,000

Recently did some work to my car, ZZP stage 3 with 2.9 pulley, 60's, there PCM tune, and a H/E. I also put in a new radiator. only other mod is the stock air intake mod.

After I installed everything the car worked wonders for a week.

The Problem.

At idel my car drops to about 400 and back up to 1200 every 5 seconds and the engine shakes like crazy, S/C sounds really rough, When taking off I have to rev the hell out of it, when switching gears it bogs down, when it hits boost doesnt have a noticable power gain.

I checked the plugs, clean the TB, flushed the intake and TB lines, flushed the line going to and from the S/C, took the fuel injector out and put them back in, and disconnected battery. My next step was going to be taking the S/C off and making sure the blade's aren't being held up for some reason..

Also, my check engine light is on so I went to autozone to get the code and there computer wouldn't read my car. They said it wasn't reading my computer.

Any idea's? Maybe ZZP messed up on the tune?

the have issues w/ the idle. My buddy has issues. idle surges quite a bit, and stalls out too...

It really should only be used temp until you can get your dyno/HPtune. Thats what im doing. Will only run their tune for about a month...

 

Weird, does OTTP or Trifecta have idle issues as well. I was going to be getting a canned tune from one of them soon due to the lack of tuners in my area.

 

op check cig lighter fuse ur obd2 port is on that circut no power no read and it sounds like you have a vaccum leak

 

Which fuse is for the Cig lights? I just checked and your right that one doesnt work. I alway used the rear one never that one.

Just for people who use the search and have this problem.....
Also my idel probelm was cause by my MAF sensor, which I already tried. Took it off and cleaned it, even though it didnt look dirty and runs great now. The lidel still dips 100 rpms but nothin to make it stall or affect take off.
