stage 2 and stage 3 kits are in
can't wait to see the gains (throw some dynos our way if you can)--i've been considering stage 3 (but not until i see it in action lol) -- also, let us know the hp/tq numbers/how well it runs using Stage 3 parts, but Stage 2 PCM (since that's what I'll be using when not at the track) -- thanks!
i thought it disabled the AC when Stg3 PCM is installed, like your supposed to switch between stock PCM w/STG2 tune and the new PCM w/ nitrous and 100 octane/shift lite, adj rev limit...etc
Since the tag blower swap seems to be missing in action, i will probably be going the GM stage 3 route. So any numbers you get please post, cause i am desperate for some info. It seems nobody has gotten this kit yet!
I will get it on the dyno in the spring. I will post them up when I do get the numbers. Yes stage three does eliminate the ac, which does suck, but oh well, I have three one hundred ac...lol. Im not sure on the meth water injection yet, but will let you all know. May be a week or two before I get the stage three installed, and what you see for numbers on the pulley is what you get.
id be more concerned about a nitrous backfire than water/meth failing.
yea well, the kit is already set for nitrous....i see no point in running meth instead of nitrous. gm pretty much recomends it. u only use nitrous when u want to. to me its way safer if u do it the way stage 3 tells u to.... 50 shot wired up the way gm tells u to... when he sprays he could probably be right 310 horse with 100 octane fuel. and that is FAST for our cars. and its a very reliable tune because its coming from the top car manufacturer in the world..
Stage 2
77.9mm = 3.0669 inches
Stage 3
76mm = 2.9921 inches
Yes, the Stage 3 is only a 3.0" pulley. I don't think GMPP could go much lower than that without beefing up the injectors again (especially with a dry nitrous system)
