Question Stage 2 or upgrade

I could use some opinions here. I have the stage 2 from GM on my Cobalt SS/SC. I'm in a debate over upgrading to the 60# injectors and a 2.8 pulley with a tune. Any suggestions? Would the power be that much of a chance if I followed through with this?

Cooling mods first. I am sort of in the same situation.

You could do a 2.9 in the meantime which is what I did.

That's the exact mod-path I took and the car felt like a million bucks when I got it back from the shop. I didn't have any cooling mods right away but I did open up the exhaust at the same time (Hahn header, catlass down-pipe and Corsa touring exhaust). I installed option B and a CX heat exchanger not too long after and Fred was able to get even more power out of her with a more agressive tune.

Bottom line... 60's and a 2.8 are a big step from Stage 2 but you'll want to open up your airflow to see good gains (Intake and full exhaust). Cooling mods will be the very next thing on your list but you can get along without them for a bit. (All the heat's gunna cause a power drop up high, though)

well my list of as now is the Injen Cai , Gm performance exhaust, engine damper,dc sport strut bar, b&M short throw shifter and the stage 2 from Gm. I also have the cobalt addiction shorty header on its way.

This is a dumb question. But will the harness that works on the 42s fit the 60s? And the clips as well ?
