Hey guys....i didnt think having my horn replaced would make me so happy..... i was walking out of the service garage and a salesman at the dealership who also has a 2.0 asked me if i had the stage 2 ordered yet.... i didnt ever tell him i was getting it... i was kinda curious so i asked y...he just told me to come read this email he got.... it was sent to him from gm.... theres a stage 3 coming out around christmas 06... its going to be 265 hp for about 900 dollars..... WOOHOOOOOO

 

I wonder if thats w/ or w/o the nitrous??? Someone already posted that they were at an event and it only hit like 245 or so to the wheels w/ a Stage 3 installed on the dyno...

 

idk.....its through gm.... y would they put nos in the car?

 

I believe that run was w/o the nitrous...

well its not 265. i saw a Stage 3 GM dyno in person at Nopi Nationals and it only got 247 whp.

 

I feel that the SS SC will hit it's upper limits very fast.

Yeah, big ass pic, but by far the most useful one in a while...

ha ha ha, I did a search for GM Stage 3 in 2.0L performance and only turned up 261 threads!!!!

 

For the 4 millionth time, 247 WHP = about 265 HP @ the crank. Why is the concept of WHP vs. Crank HP so hard for some to grasp. The Stage 2 = 245 HP which equals probably about 230 HP @ the wheels. I don't know if the 17 HP is worth the $900, unless you are planning on running the nitrous with it then it maybe worth it. I personally just want the pulley and Intercooler plate.

 

That's all nice and dandy and stuff, but personally, I'll take the stage 6 or whatever from Cobalt Addiction, much more intriguing.

Haha my stage 2 dynos more than that.

 

I heard that stg III is a warranty voider.... plus the fact that the cars are failing stock and stg II .... I don't think you'd want to go stg III unless you do some big upgrades first
