Stainless Works Chamber Muffler

Well I just ordered my stainless works muffler to replace my shitty megan racing muffler. When I get it in ill try and get a video of before and after install so we can hear the difference, I was gonna get the super turbo but it seems like everyone had problems with them burning up the stuff on the inside after a while, figured id get something that was of must better grade.

The muffler that iv read that gets burnt out is the dynomax super turbo muffler, i dont remember but i seen like 2 or 3 people say they burn out after awhile, iv heard the stainless work muffler is much better muffler and for the 168 bucks i paid i hope it is lol.

I want to hear it once it's on, my magnaflow was kinda quiet last year (still hated it though) but now it's a lot louder and I hate it so much more.

Still loving mine!

Someone DID pop one during a no lift shift recently, but that was most likely due to detonation in the exhaust rather than a poor design. If youre shooting flames then you want a straight through design. Otherwise, this muffler is awesome.

I bought a chambered one this week and while talking to the guy on the phone he said that when they make my muffler it will be packed better then normal because of some people blowing the mufflers apart. Hands down, Stainless Works is the best business when it comes to custom service. They know what they are doing and care about there customers. Who else will you find put a warranty on a muffler.

Just to make sure everyone understand the mufflers i read about burning up was the Dynomax super turbo mufflers not the stainless work, i did however see the one pyro was talking about and that guy had nls added to his car and im guessing he was turbo swapped also, but for just regular shifting it seems like it holds up just fine, pryo is tvs swapped and his is holding up and im only m62 stage 2 gm.

Well ill start from the first problem with my megan catback and explain the whole story. I bought the catback used from a member on here, when i got it and installed it the resonater was broken on the inside i let the seller know and he told me it was not broken when it was on his car. I dont want to call him a liar and he offered advice to me as in check all the bolts and make sure the piping is not hitting anything, i had already done this many times so i broke down and bought the magnaflow resonater that zzp sells and that stopped the rattle sound and now i could hear the muffler well much to my surprise the muffler was making this weird sound that i cant explain, im say it sounds like the car is farting but from all the videos iv watched non of the other ss/sc with megan catbacks sounded like mine so i was pissed tge **** off i already paid 210 for the exhaust, 80 for a new reasonater and 35 to have it welded on so now iv broke down and paid another 180 bucks for a muffler and prolly another 35 to install and i dont even got a new exhaust to ahow for it but i hope its fixxed this time lol

Yeah I realized a long time ago I got fucked over hard, the guy swears the exhaust is fine when it was on his car, he was getting turbo swapped and im guessing the guys taking off the old catback may have tossed the **** on the ground not knowing he was gonna sell it to me that may explain the broken inside of the resantor but the muffler being burnt out i think he would have knew before I bought it, I didnt have much of a choice to fix it cause, I could have just said **** it and got a new exhaust but then id have a 210 dollar exhaust id need to sell and I wouldnt **** someone over like that so I just fixed the thing and took it as a lesson learned, Ill never by a used catback again lol
