When my 2007 SS fires, it runs at high RPM's for maybe 10-15 seconds and shuts down. After the initial fire, it has a rough time starting or even running before it stalls again. along side of this, there is white fuel smelling smoke coming from the tail pipe. Any ideas?

 

Are there any codes? Maybe a vacuum leak?

 

There was for the MAP sensor but we just replaced that. we were thinking a vacuum leak. we haven't replaced the lines yet, just looking for thoughts and possibilities. I am also upgrading to Stage 3 so we just replaced the injectors, plugs, and the PCM. we have a regulator to put in and the belt and heat exchange in.

 

Wait, you started it without the belt?

 

No, I have the stock belt on the car.
