yea, stage 2 will make a huge difference in how the car drives.....money well spent in my opinion. I guess from what I hear people are being charged around 2.5-3 hours for the install. I actually work at a chevy dealership....I just moved to Charlotte from Boca, I could of hooked it up if I was still down there. But go down to Lou Bachrodt Chevy in Pompano, on Atlantic just east of Powerline.....my friend Dwight still works there and he's done quite a few stage 2 installs.
charged me $460 to have it installed. is it worth it, well thats up to you. yeah its nice for now but if you plan on going to a smaller pulley or bigger injectors then you should have went with either the stage 2 belt and the 60 lbs injectors or with an aftermarket setup.
im looking at keeping this car mildly modded, nothing big its only got 2500 miles and im looking at keeping the driveability good because i have an hour drive each way to school every day. holy **** 400 bucks to get it installed? i dont thinkim getting it installed soon.
i actually got my car at lou bachrodt sunburstss but the one in coconut creek. my gf's dads best friend is the newly hired service manager there so i'll see if i can sweet talk him into cutting me a big discount.
so is the power difference very noticable. and how much is it going to affect my gas mileage.

i paid $450 for the whole kit. I was going to have it installed for $250(about). After reading i seen it was really easy to install, which i did with the help of my dad. So now i only have to pay $85 for the reflash. I would say install it your self if you know something about cars. I took the pulley to advance auto parts and the put the new hub on for me. So im happy so far.
Is Jeff Smith still the service manager at Coconut Creek?? He was the manager at the Pompano store when I left there, then got transfered to Coconut Creek. Anyways, if it does't work out....go to the Pompano store, I know they have had experience doing the installs. I did mine when I was a tech. down there and showed some of the guys while I was doing it. They've done more then a couple.
As far as gas mileage....that all depends on your right foot haha. But I still see an average of 23-25 miles per gallon with my car.

oh ok......yea, that's the thing about Bachrodt (both stores). They seem to go through managers and techs. quite often. But if you have any questins feel free to PM me or something....and if you need someone down there I can set you up with some good techs.
