I would think so, if your seeing 2-3 Lbs. over stage II. you SHOULD be able to feel it, but maybe not.

I am also considering this.

Sounds like a good mod, without having to worry about monitoring things closely.

How long have you had the stage III pulley on the stage II setup? Isnt the stage III pulley a 2.9 or a real close? Also, have you ever had any probs?

I'm thinking my set up will consist of Stage II, Stage III pulley, CAI, GMP manifold, GMP exhaust, GMP dual pass.

It should give you around 10 - 15 HP and 15 - 20 TQ gains over the stage 2 pulley which should make at least a slightly noticable difference.

i did the Stg II pully swap on my own... ran the car with just the Stg II pully for about 2 weeks before i went and got the injectors/flash/belt added...

car ran fine... with the 2.9 the car still runs perfectly fine... 0 problems.. been like this for about a month now. i think the stage 3 pulley is a 2.9x

Do you know what your IDC is? I'm curious about this setup and would consider it if the IDC is low enough.

The stage 3 pulley is 2.99 inches. If you have the stage 1 or 2 tune you shouldn't need to retune if you put on a 2.9. However, if you do retune you can probably pull a little more power out of the car.

i put the 2.9" (nherbs) after i did the stage flash... car runs fine and it runs like a bat out of hell... i am currently waiting on an interceptor gauge just to monitor things but im pretty fine on the tuning based on how the car runs + i have elevation in my favor so i am more at ease

^^^ Do you have a stage 2 hub on there? Or is it still stock?

If you have an aftermarket hub, its a 10 minute job. You would only need a 15mm wrench for the tensioner, and then the tools to pull the bolts out of the pulley. Pop the new one on and reverse the process.

You got it!
Just make sure you get a pulley that fits your hub!

Its a pretty painless process.

Working with the belt is what will give you the most trouble. But thats because its a stubborn b*tch!

Theres a guy on here, his name is all over the place but it eludes me at the moment.
Maybe Acidangel knows?

Other than that, I am pretty sure ZZP makes them to fit the GM hub.
