well i hate to burst ya bubble, but i run heavy equipment for a living......and usually "little yellow gear" lights mean transmission damage or error, not "shift now"
i would be scared SHITLESS if i was seeing that light come on. |
mine has yet to ever come on .how do you get it to come on.

i noticed that you can go past teh rev limiter when giving it gas between shifts... but i've never seen that lil yellow light...

You stock? When I did that, I DID go a little past the rev limiter... about 400 rpm past it, and my limiter is set at 7400!!!

I've got logs of my car hitting 8400 when shifting. Limiter set to 7400 as well.

Well lightweight flywheel, and I was slowly powershifting. I didn't realize how much difference the flywheel made until then, lol.

I stopped WOT shifting after that incident. It stopped letting me put it in gear as quickly from that night on. I used to be able to WOT so fast I didn't even hit the limiter, but after that night, its quicker to slightly lift now :confused:
