Wink SuperChargedMA Project

Hey guys,

So I decided to make a thread based on what I'm doing to my car this summer... Needless to say I'm pretty pumped!!!

Here's the basic rundown... I had a TVS set-up... after thinking long and hard and getting a lot more back for taxes than I expected... I sold everything and went ZZP Turbo Swap!!!

Currently on the car:

GMS2 w/ 2.9 Pully
Injen CAI
Custom "Demon Eye" Retros
TWM Short Throw Shifter w/ Big Type "R" Black Pearl Weighted Knob

And I just put on Gunmetal Enkei EKM3 two weeks ago

Oh and I have a 2006 SS/SC G85 Package. Just hit 50k Miles.

Here is how she sits now...

This is the list of what's coming by the end of the month:

ZZP Complete Turbo Swap
S252et Turbo
60 Injectors
Boost Controller
Standard Tune
Catted 3" DP
ZZP Full 3" Exhaust

OTTP Stage 2 Rotated Mounts

Size: 68.6 KB

I am on the list for the new YYZ Springs from John Powell, he said they should be out in 2 weeks, end of the month is the latest. I'm pretty excited about these...

I also have a new CF Hood, and Tjin Edition Trunk coming from Extreme Dimensions... unfortunately I was one of the people whose first order was damaged...

I'll be updating this thread with pictures and progress reports as everything comes in and is installed!!!

I'll also be getting a custom dyno tune from my buddy Travis down at Performance Auto and Dyno in Plymouth, MA. Check them out, these guys do great work!

CAR REPAIR | AUTOMOTIVE DYNO | DYNO TUNE

Let me know what you guys think!!!

Haha yea man, sorry about that, been very busy with school. It took a while to save up the rest of the money for this and then about 6 weeks to get the Turbo Kit in, which contributed to the delay, but definitely well worth it!

I hope the header is working well for you! I look forward to meeting all you guys soon.

Go over the list and parts and make sure you have everything before you start tearing everything apart. They didnt send the alternator at first, emailed them and they sent it out no problem. Another member on here didn't get ic brackets with his kit. They send you a list, just double check it and make sure everything is there.

Yea man! It's a pretty cool shop, the dyno only reads to 1000hp... The owners car wont read on it lol But yea, I cant wait to show it to you and everyone else at a meet!

UPDATE: The Turbo swap is going to begin Monday!!! And hopefully the hood and tjin trunk will be here monday as well! Will update with pictures accordingly!!! So excited!!!

S252et, catted dp, open dump, stock exhaust, stock clutch, 19-20 psi, low timing. I asked BYT for a conservative tune until my stock clutch starts slipping(months later and its still not slipping)and I put in a new one and get an exhaust. Didn't get to dyno tune, only street tuned. Asked BYT how much power he thought it was making when we were done tuning and he said probably around 350-360. Cant wait to get a more aggressive tune and up the boost some more, just don't feel like spending any more money and wrenching on my car for awhile. Probably after the summer. Also I've been toying with the notion of picking up hpt and learning to tune myself. I'm sick and tired of relying on unreliable people. He still needs to fix my idle. Kind of loopy and stalls when the AC is on. Shouldn't be this bad I'm only on 60's

Man, that sucks. I'm going to be about the same, except with ZZP 3" Exhaust, I'll probably only do 16-17 psi for now. I'm going to be rocking ZZP's tune until I can recover some funds and go custom dyno tune haha. I'm also only on 60's but I was told thats all you need unless you go e85. Best of luck to you man!

Update

Hey guys, so here's the deal, car is up and running!!! Idling a little rough, and throwing some codes, which is all natural on first start up. I'm just waiting for the computer to re-learn the new PCM, and hopefully all will be well. Probably going to stick with the ZZP Tune that came with the kit on 16-17psi for a few weeks then get a custom tune and new clutch!

As for my CF Hood/Tjin edition trunk, the hood came perfect! But the trunk was a little damaged probably could've fixed it myself, but wasnt willing to risk it! Extreme Dimensions already took care of it, replacement is already shipped with extra bubble rap Those guys have taken care of me and have amazing customer service, hopefully this one will be perfect!

BTW the build quality of this kit, and the ZZP exhaust is amazing. I was really impressed with everything, and I can't wait to hit the streets. Worth the money, will ALWAYS buy from ZZP.

Anyways, here's some pictures
