Supercharger airflow question
Hi,
Obviously I know that when superchargers kick in there is a whine. However within the past 3 days or so, it seems that there is a gap where airflow is coming out. This is hard to explain, but there is a noticeable difference in the sound before this issue happened, and now. The best compairson to sound without actually taping the issue and posting it is.... when there is a pipe or some sort with air flowing through another piece of equipment, but there is a slight gap from the end of the pipe to the other piece of equipment and you can hear the airflow coming out through this small gap making an off-whine sound, because not all of the airflow is flowing through (theres a hole somewhere). Might be making this more confusing than it is but I hope some of you understand what I am trying to say.
The car still runs fine there do not seem to be any issues with the performance but the sound is significantly different. Any help or advice at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Mark
