So someone said larger diameter intake make the supercharger whine more fully. Is this true?

 

smaller pulley is more effient with that

but an intake does allow u to hear the whine more

No but it's hella fun! It's like running a turbo with no blow off. That would suck. Smaller pulley, intake and plugging the port holes on the charger are the 3 ways to make more whine

 

I actually heard that pinning it in first and not shifting just hitting redline makes it LOUDER to haha

3" intake, port blower, plug silencer holes, 2.5" pulley....that would sound nice.

 

3 inch intake to a ported blower, no plugged holes and 2.8 make mine sound pretty bad ass.

 

how much would it be to port my blower?
does that make me boost more? or colder?

 

Try the air box mod. I did it and my whine is 3 times louder now. Only takes about 30-45 minutes and $25 for a clamp on filter.

You guys should really hear my car!! LOL I hit a animal about a year ago and it fudged my bumper and my insurance didnt give me enough for my inner fenderwells so i took them out, f************ loud lol

 

you are correct, because if the turbo had no way to release the pressure, it would damage the turbo and "suck" i just find it funny how everyone wants their cars to make noise so people look at them

 

trust me i didnt want to cut the inner fender well. Sorta had to because didnt have the $ to fix it all lol.. damn insurance

My whine is so f**king loud i cant hear my exaust when i tke off and i have full exaust zzp downpipe 3 inch, and a magnaflow catback, so yeah...... literally i got pulley over because the cop said the supercharger should not make that noise, that it was not stock. I still hav the m62 also. i hate it.. (Sometimes) like when im trying to sleep in my car lol. And i can hear the supercharger rotors spinning errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
