Swapped Oil Pans

Ok so I swapped my lsj pan for a 2.2/2.4 pan only question is that the dipstick i can just pull it out with almost no effort while the old one didn't come out as easily. You guys that have swapped, did you put anything on the dipstick at all where it pushes into the pan? Or will it be ok lol.

Just curious why use an 2.2 oil pan?

that's what zzp sent me for the pan with the oil return welded in it, no more almost 7 quart oil changes so im not complaining haha

Seems odd to swap oil pans like that.

I haven't switched pans just had a bung welded into my stock pan but i've never had any issues with the dipstick. I made a bracket underneath my intake manifold that holds a catch can and also holds my dipstick in place so there is no chance of it popping out or coming loose or anything.

was yours kinda easy to pull in and out of the pan after you had it out? i'll prob just use some uv rated zip ties and tie it to something down there with the bracket thats on it haha
