Your main question has been answered, as for the secondary question I would suggest focusing less on boost and more on supporting mods. Stage 2 is a great place to start and it will get you more boost, but it also gets you a better ecu flash, injectors, and the smaller pulley. Another option is the airbox mod which is cheap (about 30 bucks) and can be done in 30-60 minutes. It will give you alittle more sound, and I have noticed a few degree temperature drop from the air before the supercharger to the air after it, then before I had the mod. cooler air= more hp. You could also open up the exhaust some or work on the supporting mods like clutch/flywheel combos, or new axels.
Remember when modding it's important to plan it all out ahead of time to prevent it from braking. Good luck modding and search around some, there is a lot of great info here.
