i went with full three inch. My mods and near future plans require me to get a 3 inch as soon as possible and i thought i may as well knock it out of the way. as far as exhaust velocity is concerned, ive got that set where i want it.

I have the mandrelexhaustsystems.com 3" system with 18" resonator and Magnaflow muffler. Do yourself the favor and spend the best $13 you ever will...

http://www.jegs.com/i/Patriot-Exhaus...oductId=897835

It can be found for about $13 shipped on Pertronix's website...

Plain exhaust has rasp and rice even with cat, and is rather loud... Install auger insert, car sounds not much louder than stock, and has the power gains of 3"...

OTTP 3" (18" magnaflow resonator + 5x9x14 magnaflow muffler) + CTI header here. LOUD!!!

It feels awesome when you go WOT, and the nice deep growl while driving around is great, but the drone on the highway kills it for me. I make 600mi trips about once every two months and it is just annoying. You also lose the ability to sneak up on other cars because they hear you coming a mile away lol.

I just ordered this: http://www.stainlessworks.net/cart/p...roducts_id=601

Looking to have the best of both worlds.

It only took about 4 days. Here's the direct link... Enjoy!

http://www.shopatron.com/products/pr...er=H3844/591.0

I wonder if anyone has any data that shows this causes a significant enough exhaust restriction to reduce power by any measurable amount? I would think maybe 1-2 HP like a cat...

Just buy an exhaust that sounds good, like a Vibrant.

Hahn ftw! This is by far the best video I've ever heard of an SS/SC with full exhaust
