Whats are you guys using to spray? What brand of washer fluid is good to use?? I really don't feel like paying for devils own ****. The only washer fliud i have seen that has methanol in it krystal kleer but i don't know the %'s.

 

I use regular -20* washer fluid (the blue ****) and Yellow bottles of HEET!

 

I used 100% pure methanol and water.

Any non additive mix washer fluid is just fine... as long as it is -20* the other has de-icer in it which isn't good!

 

If you're going to use washer fluid....make sure it is the stuff for -20 degrees. Also make sure it is the cheap stuff meaning no bug cleaners and crap like that.

Boost Juice is convenient. However, it's not as great of a deal as you would think and there is another alternative which will get you over twice the amount for only $10.00 more dollars.

You can have 5 gallons of pure methanol shipped to your door for about $10.00 more then boost juice. Boost Juice is basically a 50/50 mix of water and methanol. So your essentially buying 2 gallons of water and two gallons of methanol. This is convientiant as you do not have to mix it your self. However, it doesn't make much sense to ship water around as you can pick it up locally.

Mix this 50/50 as you need it and you will have enough methanol to take care of you for the better part of the year.
