If that is going to be the price of the intake.. I am out.. I am not paying $400amr (about $500 cdn for an intake).. All it is basically a Pipe and Filter that looks nice.. Oh and they put the MAP sensor in.. Big deal.. Not worth it.

 

I agree not worth 400.00 for around 8 horsepower. I will wait for the cobalt ss stage 2 kit to come out.

I did this mod last night took me about an hour...including smoke and beer breaks! I got the filter at autozone for 26.36 w/tax.....just got the universal one. thought about the K&N e-1009 but the 70 bucks i didnt think was worth it. after i put it on i couldnot believe how that supercharger whines...and the increase in BOOST!!! I was running about 10 pounds max now i got 12.5 lbs. I think it was worth it 10 bucks for a pound of boost all i can saw is you gotta do it let me know if you have any questions

the K&N for the saturn ion red line listed for ~380, we got it for 215 with 30 orders.

we've got 50 alone here on this site, and another 20 on another. i'm getting a quote for 40 to see where we're at, though i haven't heard back yet, we'll see soon enough

It's a business and a lot of cost goes into the R&D and production. $380 isn't really that much money in my opinion. If Vita can do them for less than 250 I would say thats a STEAL.

 

Not that much....one-off custom exhausts costing $600 make sense, but $380 for that is ridiculous. The intake uses much less tubing, and fewer (but maybe harder) bends, a sensor, and a filter........this does not justify the cost.

I could probably see $300-320, but $380 is too much.
