Does anybody remember what the trq #s were on the Cobalt ? ? Seems as though GM is rating the stg 2 at 265hp/270trq... I thought it only dynoed at like 210 trq... seems a little off.. or maybe my memory just is ...

 

Interesting parameters of stage 1: Rev limiter up to 6700 RPM, by-pass valve selenoid will no more limit the boost at high RPM's, reflash good for both stages, bigger injectors.

 

Are these going to be installed by GM as well?

they dynoed it stock at 211 whp and w/ the upgrades at 235 i dunno y it says 265 if it doesnt dyno that

 

It will be interesting to see GM's pricing structure for the upgrades since the article says Stage 1 PCM calibration can handle the smaller pulley should you add it later.

 

Is SAE hp ratings to the wheels? or to the crank?

 

Its at the flywheel. I had the same question last night when i saw the article so i did some investigating and found that SAE are flywheel numbers not wheel.

 

So that would bring the hp to the wheels around 235-240 ish am I right? I thought it was going to have 245 to the wheels just like when I heard the stage 2 was going to be 280 hp

 

At this point to me the Stage kits seem disappointing.... Unless the pricing is really reasonable.... I was hoping they would release something with some major gains... I mean another 30hp ? I got that from my Psi-fi kit.... I expected more... Hopefully though GMs new tune will be very conducive to mods... I think it will be... atleast more then the current Psi fi kit anyways...

 

I need to know pricing this is killing me.
