Throw on the 2.5?
Throw on the 2.5?
Hey guys,
Doc is going to tune me this weekend with HP tuners and a dyno. Should i throw on the 2.5 i have or stick with the 2.7? I was thinking tune it with the 2.5 so when it gets cold i can put on the 2.7 and be fine.
I remember hearing that 2.6 and lower people were melting pistons, was this user error or?
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Ryan

got like dual pass or second HE ? if not stick with the bigger pulley. Where are u getting dynoed at ?
I dont have one yet but im planning on another H/E after clutch/flywheel goes in. I really dont drive the car much and when i do its for short periods of time. Think it would last a little while without or?
All Aspects Motorsports is the place

really what time ? i live near Doc id like to see i got dynoed there last week 249whp 229 tq
as for the pulley's i guess ill stick with the 2.7 until i can afford the H/E/Dual Pass.
Thanks all for your input.

your spending alot of time and money for 2.7 and planning on 2.5. I say go with the 2.5 and then put on the 2.7 right after. check it on the dyno. then run it that way till you do the bypass. then go back to the 2.5. watch the intake temps when tuning with 2.5. you can burn off the nylon coating on the rotors. I have seen that done. the s/c still surprisingly functions normally. either way good luck.
alright thanks, now as long as the issue im having with backfire/running rich is my tune ill be home free.
Doc is going to be nice enough to bring some spare plugs just incase.
Cant wait until tomorrow!
ill post up the new numbers compared to the intese tuned ones.
