Took my car to the Dyno.

I will put up a picture here later on...

I drove 2 hours in this 80 degree weather. I got there and they put her directly on the dyno. The dyno registered 90 degrees almost inside this place.

Mods:
2.8 Intense Pulley
42.5lb Injectors
Wicked Tuned.

Got it on there and the first pull was 238.
Second was 235 and
Third was 236.

I talked to the Dyno guy and he said my car pulled strong. Needed a little tweak to the tune which he said was a damn good tune. Thanks, Tom.

So.. Thats what happened.. I wanted to get a before and after Meth. Will hit up the dyno again sometime next week to see the gains.

-Matt.

Got it done at IPS Motorsports in Columbus for 55.00..
He said if I wanted he could get me a Dyno Tune with all the Dyno time for 300.00. Seems like a good deal.. is it?

Also.. It was on a DynoJet Dyno...

said I was running rich up top.

You won't see gains on Meth without a retune. Just expect to see decently lower temps, and a richer AFR resulting in power rob.

Dynos vary greatly...'nough said about that. His numbers look fine given some margin for error.

I would like to see his RPMs on the graph though. A lot of dynos misread the spark on these cars and calculate the wrong rpms throwing off the horsepower #'s.

intake and exhaust would help bring up the numbers, and yes dynos are not all the same.. agreed

when I went they told me they couldnt get some cover off so I couldn't get a torque reading. Would this affect my HP numbers?

No it wouldn't affect your HP numbers. So did they just base HP off of wheel speed then? because that can be more accurate sometimes.

And that cover they were talking about requires a simple torx to take off, you have to be kidding me!

Nope they said they didn't have the tool. I was pretty pissed. But I did find out my cat was clogged.

The guy that is doing the dyno tunes knows what he is doing..

I was happy with the result.. I have Stock Exhaust and NO cooling mods.. 240 whp coming for a 2 hour drive in 80 degree weather to a 90 degree shop.. I was happy. :P

I will try to get more pictures and yes.. I WILL be getting the meth tuned for..
