Torque Brace Issue Solved !
I have solved the TQ brace issues for the 2005 SS/SC. I will post pictures sometime monday or tuesday. My card reader is at work . The brace rubs in two spots. One the eyelit of the damper hits the mount. Two the top bracket with the three holes in it hits the mount when turning left because of the pressure on the body. This is easily solved. A longer bracketwill move the damper completely away from the motor mount. That will be solved. What I did was I took a blow torch and completely got rid of the wall for the hole on the bracket that is closest to the firewall. I then ovaled out the other holes. This allowed me to slide it down a little. To fix the bracket rubbing against the motor mount I took a file bit and opened the holes a little more. This allowed me to slide the bracket closer to the motor. Now I have double the spacing and no rubbing. I also did some other things today that worked out well. Unfortunately the ticking in my motor still hasn't gone away. I am getting it serviced monday though.

I wanted maximum clearance. I dont want to have to adjust it all the time. You will find that after time you will need to adjust yours again. Im lazy so I just fabbed it so I could cut that step out.
Well now I have pictures.
So first picture is the bracket for the TQ brace as it is from Cynic
The second picture is the mount where this bracket is applied to

The third image shows what I did to make room for the TQ brace. As you can see I melted the wall off of the third hole and ovaled out the others. I also cut away at my washers to allow me to push the mount to the right. I didnt have smaller washers avail.

I painted it silver afterwards good as new
The forth image shows how much space I now have between the bracket and the motor mount. Before there was enough space for maybe 3 pieces of paper.

The next two images show how much space I now have between the damper and the motor mount.

This will solve all of your rubbing problems
