Torque Braces only $100.00

these are the former goofyguy torque braces, same brace, same design, same total product, only CHEAPER than they were before.

for an explanation of the benefits these provide, please look here

those wanting to completely eliminate wheel hop at the track, you'll want the dual brace design.

for those wandering from the 2.2 or 2.4 forums, they will be available soon.

for any moderators that see this and feel the need to delete, please don't, i just sent in the vendor fees today, and will be set up soon. thank you,

Tom

here

is a picture of the 3.3 (dual brace) setup on a RL.

the rear is the old 2.x design that required drilling, but you can get an idea of what it'll look like. the 3.1 would be only the front brace, the 3.2 would be only the rear brace, and the 3.3 is both.

the dual setup will cause vibrations like a solid mount would, but is only really needed at the track, and you can take off whatever one you'd like/put it back on in a couple minutes once the brackets are installed.

again, this is what it'll look like on the SS, but i'll get some actual pictures VERY soon for you guys.

right now i'm taking pre-orders, and once i get to 10 i'll be able to order the braces and start shipping about a week after that.

Just so I can clarify a bit, the 3.3 version still requires drilling right?

And is it that much better? like will you still experience some wheel hop with the 3.1 or 3.2?

none of the version 3's are supposed to require drilling

for the street, you don't need the 3.3, it's more hardcore for the track going types. the 3.3 will give you vibrations like a solid mount, BUT you can remove one of your choice for daily driving in a couple of minutes. i can't get wheel hop for the life of me on the street. on rough pavement, you'll get some slight hop, but nothing compared to without the brace.

all versions are bolt on, no drilling required.

now that they're all bolt on, install is a breeze. should take much less than 30 minutes. it only took me a little longer than that to install mine (drill type) when i first got it. i'll confirm this when i get one of the local guys to stop by for some pictures (i'll time it).

here you go! i'll be adding more, as well as reviews, etc., to the site. it's only been up since sunday, so you get the idea...

the only deal with these braces is that you're tires won't last as long

after i had the brace installed, i can lay DUAL patches through almost all of second gear with an open differential. that was enough to convince me.

i'm such a believer, that when he mentioned he was selling out because he didn't have time, i bought him out. i wouldn't be here if i wasn't 110% confident in the product, that's for damn sure! like i said, i'll have some more specific pictures on a cobalt soon enough, but this is an accurate representation for now

only 1 brace made me lay dual patches! couln't believe it myself, so i did it another 6 times

still have friends that don't think an open differential FWD car will do it, just haven't taken the time to waste my tires.

if you ask me it's even worth it for the fact that it'll take stress off your motor/tranny mounts, and thereby the drivetrain components. worst part is the loss of rubber...

you just remove the two bolts on the motor mount, place the brace down, reinstall bolts.

you remove another bolt up front/or back depending on 3.1 or 3.2, install brace, reinstall bolt.

preload the brace, (i'll provide instructions) and bolt it to the two (or three) brackets you just installed.

that's all.

Wow... I am really interested... so if you bought just one, would it go engine to front or engine to rear?

Sounds really nice to me...

Thanks,
-Rich

if you get the single setup, it's your choice if it's fron (3.1) or rear (3.2) mounted.

the order page on my site is pretty self explanatory

Is a front better than a rear? Which one would you recommend?

Thanks,

it's all looks at that point. this is not a gas shock, so it resists pull and push, and there is no difference in performance.
