From what I've heard, the traction bars will practically eliminate wheel hop, unlike the dampner. And yes, the traction bars are made by BWoody.

Cobalt Addiction also has a set,. and yes they do work pretty damn good to get rid of wheel hop. The Ingalls really doesn't do much after you do all your mounts and the bars, but I"m still running one anyway til the turbo goes in to try and keep the motor from moving at all

^^^What he said.

IMHO, do the CAB's, and trans mounts first, as well as the ingal's or solid motor mount.

I'm also considering the traction bars as well,, but if you don't do something about the engine/trans you'll always have traction problems.

I had the ingalls, didnt like it to much, its really only keeping one side of the engine from moving, since it is on one mount.

Say if I go with just the ingalls for right now, would this help wheel hop at all? I was only able to run a 14.5 at 98 with stage 2, and GMPP exhaust..I could have gotten into the 13's I believe if I had gotten better than a 2.5 60', but I was afraid to even rev the car up at the line because of wheel hop.

If it helps I get no wheel hop on my pirrelis or on my snow tires w/ just an Ingalls adjusted correctly. And, I beat the **** out of my car. Not really whole shots so much as pulling the car around an on ramp near redline in second spinning redicuously. The tires stay stuck to the ground.

I believe I will go with the ingalls for now. I don't liket he idea of drilling. So for a daily driver/weekend racer will the ingalls be for me?

I agree and disagree. It can't hurt you as long as you install it correctly. However if you have Stage II I think you already have to much power for a ingall's Now I'm running 13.6s with 2.3-2.4 60ft times. Stock a ran 14.2 with 2.2 60ft times. Ingall's helps but mine deff. flexes. I think ingall's with some good drag radials would be perfect

I have no wheel hop at all with my ingalls and haven't had any hint of the wheels starting to hop since i installed it.

you really cant beat how easy it is to install and the fact that it can be adjusted to your preferences. FYI, i'm still looking into getting traction bars this summer when i go to the track. You will notice a lot more cabin vibration though.... so be aware of that.

trust me, i am use to cabin vibration. I had an upper and lower engine mount for my 2.2 ecotec cavy, but it was an auto so wheel hop was not that big of an issue. I think I will go with the ingalls for now and just see if it will help me out any.
