Trouble code and scary ass sounds....
Clean your MAF sensor and clear the codes!!!! Mine does this at least once a year. you're CAI probably sucked in a bit of water or your MAF sensor might be dirty (for some reason I've seen my MAF sensor get dirtier with my CAI than a regular intake...)
BTW When i clean my MAF sensor I actually notice that I get better gas Mileage as well. I use the special MAF sensor cleaner and make sure I get in every nook and cranny.

I would stick with NGK because the ecotec responds very well to them. Did you notice the stock plugs are made by NGK? Well, they are.
Check out the NGK bkr7e. make sure you put some silicone dielectric grease on the end of the spark plug that connects to the boot. It'll make your coils happy

I get it but I don't understand why you would pay for shipping on somthing that you can get for a buck at a parts store. Shipping if going to be more than a buck...
To the OP I still think you should look into cleaning your MAF sensor and then resetting the codes before you do anything else. This has always fixed it for me when my car was acting exactly the same way yours was...

I used CRC before when my uncle over oiled the k&n filter i gave him and it worked pretty well. It says it doesn't leave residue but if you wipe it down with a lint free towel you'll notice a little residue. Just make sure you give it a good wipe down and leave time to dry. Also make sure the MAF is intact before and after you clean.
Sorry dude I'm in it to enhance my pocket book not someone elses. if I can find something like that somewhere for 1/4 of the price I'm buying it I don't really care who I buy it from. Now if I were to buy something like a TVS supercharger for example I'm damn sure gonna buy it from someone who will back it up.

Flex pipe = loud.
But that was a progressive sound (started quiet).
Worked its up up through a completely divorced flex pipe in about 1 1/2 weeks.

It did start out that it only made the sound when I hit the gas, but worked its way up till I would hear it at very light throttle... Might be the exhaust gasket. I'll get a good look all around when I have a chance to look at it all. If its the exhaust, that might be a good excuse to get that header/downpipe from clear image (I realize this would be about 10x as expensive as just replacing the gasket, but it would be more fun)
Dude i see what your saying, But come on its a $1 dollar tool, Whay pay $5 bucks and wait a week? Im sure vendors are just fine without that dollar.
I looked at your garage and I would seriously take a close look at that header and dp you got. I've heard some shitty things about em
I understand but the guy said he wanted to support the vendors and I don't really see why not. ya know?

Alright I have my NGK BKR7Es and I am putting them in tomorrow morning. I was looking at their gap and it seems like most of them are pretty close to .034. None are bigger, and there was one or two that seemed a little small. I think I got them widened up.
I did a bit of reading, and I think I am going to start at .034 and see where that goes. Hopefully it will at least stop the misfire.
Any words of wisdom?

This is from cobalt-addiction's site. Im not sure how accurate they are but they say that they are based off dyno's.
